For more than 30 years, I’ve led the creative and strategic direction for some of the world’s most recognizable brands at some of the country’s top creative agencies.

Over the course of my career, my work has been recognized by virtually every major advertising and marketing award show, including Cannes, D&AD, CLIO, London International, New York Festivals, the One Show, Effies, National ADDYs, the Art Directors Club, the ANDYs, and the Stephen E. Kelly Awards. But the award I’m most proud of is an Emmy for the Citibank Identity Theft campaign.

I was also fortunate to be part of the team behind the groundbreaking BMW Films work at Fallon Minneapolis. During my 19+ years at Martin, I helped pitch and win dozens of accounts, including Walmart, DoorDash, Timberland PRO and Experian. One of the accounts I was particularly proud of winning was Purina Feed, which makes food for just about every animal on a farm—a handy dinner conversation starter when your wife happens to be a large-animal veterinarian. For my final three years at Martin, I led the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line account.

I began my career as a Communication Design major at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. After several years working as a designer in New York City, I moved to Atlanta to attend The Portfolio Center.

Today, I live on 13 acres outside Richmond, Virginia, with my wife, our two kids, two cats, a horse, two miniature donkeys, eight chickens, and a snake named Vincent.

When I’m not working in advertising, I’m a licensed Race Marshal for Formula 1 and IndyCar. I’ve waved the flags at the U.S. Grand Prix, Las Vegas Grand Prix, Miami Grand Prix, and Canadian Grand Prix, and recently worked the IndyCar Freedom 250 in Washington, D.C.

After 30+ years in advertising, I finally found something with a similar pace.
